Propolis  

Propolis, Propolis is a resinous composition produced by bees with antibiotic, antiviral and antifungal activity. Propolis is often referred to as a "natural antibiotic". It serves the bees to seal small holes, cracks and holes and simultaneously inhibit this, introduced or existing bacteria, fungi and other microorganisms in their development or even kill. The substance contains several components, mostly it consists of resins, waxes, ethereal oils and pollen.

Propolis tincture is created by inserting the purified resin in hard liquor (usually pure alcohol). There it pulls with leach out the active substances for a period of 4-6 weeks.

In traditional medicine, propolis tincture is used as an amplifier of the immune system. Propolis is particularly effective in cases of oral disease (gingivitis, stomatitis, etc.), respiratory infections, stomach ulcers, colds and flu, otitis media and general fungal and viral infections.

dosage:
Propolis tincture is very strong and must be used strictly according to instructions. The usual dose is 0,25-0,50ml (about 5-10 drops per day).
It should by no means! be used during pregnancy and lactation.
