The agriculture was industrialized and increasingly rapidly over the past century. More fertilizer and toxic chemicals are used, there are
grown more and more monoculture, and agriculture has spread to additional areas. All this has the consequence that agriculture extremely
harmful effect in its current form on the environment. Industrial agriculture affects bees and other pollinators in different ways.
In particular, the large-scale and pervasive use of pesticides, which is common practice in the current chemical-intensive agricultural
systems, can lead to increased mortality and / or have changed their collective ability in wild and honey bees.
Urgent measures has to be taken for to guaranty not only the pollination but to protect the whole fundamental ecosystem services .
The instruments listed in this report (Greepeace) that already exist for the protection of pollinators should be integrated as a means
to promote bee-friendly farming practices in the agricultural policy. In addition, strict EU regulations should be adopted on the use
of potentially harmful substances, that are based on the latest scientific findings on injury and susceptibility of honeybees.
The use of harmful pesticides bees must be urgently prohibited. Starting with the most dangerous and most popular currently approved in the
EU pesticides: these are imidacloprid, thiamethoxam, clothianidin, fipronil, chlorpyrifos, cypermethrin and deltamethrin.
Let's help the bees: so everyone can start in small, private circles; the cities and countries in national parks and gardens with native
plants. This will benefit the bees.Chemical pesticides should be avoided. To protect and maintain the diversity of insects, plants and trees.
For us and the life.
